About Dawn Daras

Dawn has had over 20 years working in both qualitative and quantitative research. She was a therapist who was also a researcher into attachment theory and human systems. She has had her own women-owned/veteran-owned small business, which became an IBM business partner. At IBM she partnered to build the Watson Social Media Analytics team, which built predictive text analytics/NLP models on large data. Eventually she took her understanding of human behavior into Counter Fraud and anti money laundering for several Fortune 500 and government clients, building models to protect vulnerable persons. She understands the systemic and cultural aspects of corporations that can make the political aspects of finding a "singular truth" difficult. Besides her many credentials and accomplishments, she has been called "one tough cookie," and a "straight shooter," and, she understands the pain points C-Levels and executives have that keep them up at night and looks at those challenges as puzzles to be solved.
